Trucks & Tech Proves Even Zombies Like Food Trucks

Thursday night zombies from across Orlando will be gathering at Lake Eola Park to eat tamales and cupcakes and watch techies talk about crowdfunding. Because that’s what all the cool zombies are doing these days. Or maybe it’s time for Trucks & Tech, a community event sponsored by IZEA at which leaders in the tech community discuss trends and innovations amidst a fun, food-truck loving crowd dressed as undead.

This season’s event, called Truckpocalypse, will include panels on topics including growth hacking, Ruby vs. PHP, video games, and OrlandoiX. Food will be provided by The Yum Yum Truck, The Pastrami Project, SwedeDISH Food Truck, Dixieland Diner Mobile Food Truck, The Swat Truck Mobile Food Truck, The Crepe Company, Soup to Nuts Food Truck, and Tamale Co. Food Truck.

The event will include a costume contest and product demos. It begins at 6:00pm with an hour of food truck enjoyment leading into a introduction from IZEA CEO Ted Murphy. Then the panels begin. Here is the full panel listing, available on the Trucks and Tech website. For even more details, check out the Facebook event page.
