Grocery Delivery Service, Shipt, Coming to Orlando
hipt, a same day grocery delivery service, announced yesterday that their service is expanding to Orlando, Sanford, and Kissimmee. The Birmingham-based startup announced earlier this month that it would be expanding to South Florida, with its services going live in Miami and Fort Lauderdale yesterday.
Shipt offers a $99/year or $14/month membership that allows users unlimited grocery deliveries on all orders over $35. A $7 delivery fee is tacked on to all orders under $35. Simply fill your cart using the free Shipt mobile app, and schedule a delivery time. The app is available for both iOS and Android. Shipt’s trained local shoppers will hand select your groceries and deliver them to your door.
Founded in 2014 as a same-day delivery service, Shipt transitioned into grocery delivery in 2015. In addition to the Orlando/Kissimmee/Sanford region, Shipt also operates in Nashville,TN Birmingham, AL, South Florida, Tampa Bay, and Dallas, TX.
