Telemetree, an Orlando-based IoT-company, launched Distrx last week. Distrx uses iBeacon technology to give you access to the best local deals happening in your area.
The app is currently at work in the Mount Dora historic district, along with beta testing in five other districts. Telemetree’s plan is to roll Distrx out into ten districts after beta testing is complete. Some of the roll out districts will include Church Street, Thornton Park, Downtown Deland, and Downtown Sanford.
“Distrx provides merchants a way to personally greet every customer as they walk through the door,” said Telemetree President Ron Cook in a press release. “
This could be an exclusive promotional offer, or a simple ‘welcome back.’ For app users, Distrx offers district visitors the ability to receive targeted, personalized offers and the option to ‘like’ the ones most valuable to them, letting merchants know which are most effective.”
